Day 1:
So we finally reach SPB. Like the photos shown on facebook, we went to MANY museums. Our plan was to go to our hostel last. Lucky we did not plan anything from 7pm onwards. So we took a bus to our hostel which we booked like 1 week ago. We could not find the hostel so we asked the passer by. They are really cute!!
The thing about the paper is that there is this chop at the back of the paper which says which part of russia do u stay. Other hostels do not need this paper, only this fucking hostel needs it. So I asked my friends from my dorm to help me take photo and send it to me. Then the receptionist said cannot see the chop clearly, need to retake again. Then I ask another friend to take again. The guy still say cannot see, which is true because i think only scanner can do the job but no one has scanner here! Somehow allen called me that he has a scanner but need to wait for 2 hours to set up etc.. then that is when we decide to not stay at this hostel.. it was like 10 plus pm already. Karola teared and I felt really guilty about it. But then she say its not my fault it's the stupid rule system's fault.
Then that fugging reception guy turn into a prophet. He told us to follow the river and we will find a hostel call crazy duck which definitely do not require the piece of paper. So we were like okay, if we get robbed when we are on our way to the hotel, u are so dead. But we just walked by the river and then we realized that SPB is really beautiful at night... romantically beautiful!
2nd What if: What if somehow the prophet let us stayed in the Hostel?
Well, if that happens, then we will stay in the hostel with another 45 kids who are undergoing puberty. It was really noisy and we would have missed the river walk and probably hit a bar after a dinner at a restaurant nearby. But we didn't ;) We got to see the best river walk ever in my life, sleep on the best bed ever @ crazy duck, eat japanese food and enjoy a bottle of champagne with Karola.
