Preparing for Bro's wedding

Wooo!! Just now I served strawberries to Mr Lee Hsien Loong. Oooo I feel so honored! Hehe Juicy, organic, sweet and tasty strawberries from Korea! It's really tasty!

Okay My bro's wedding is today... Actually my role in the wedding is small, nothing much. But I have to wake up early! I am still packing my stuff... because it weighs more than the baggage allowance!!! :((((

Anyway, I bought 2 dresses the other day for my bro's wedding. I could not decide which one to wear:

Purple dress, I know you can't see the colour and u can't see the design. There's a belt like ribbon at the side.

This is actually black dress with small polka dots and there's a belt at my waist area.

Which one is nicer??? :/ Okay I should sleep now! Ciao!

I find it quite true... especially when I have this obstacle in my heart... I can't jump through it... at all! I hope when I come back from Russia, things will change for a better. For now, I just wanna enjoy my Russia trip... I will not think so much. Maybe during this period of time, I will see some things and that obstacle will be gone... but whatever I do now, I promise myself that we will just enjoy it.

A few wolds of our academy+you spend a wonderful time)))

There are a lot of kind of sport in our academy, beside soccer, volleyball, basketball, tennis, aerobic, if you want ,you can go in for any of them! Of course , different competitions take part among students, a month ago , there was a great match between student's team and teacher's,

As for me, I like sport very much, especially, skating, skiing, volleyball, soccer, tennis and what about you?,

if you want we can visit some competitions, taking place in Moscow! In our academy there are a lot of traditional events, where you can also take part!

We plan to take place Rlehanov Open in front of academy, it is a day of unusual kinds of sport, We have a wonderful day of miss of Plehanov academy, where girls take part in a lot of intellectual, creative competitons, the final is always exiting and superb!

There are also Plehanov oscar, where students make different videos , parties to sing, To dance;

Квн(club of funny and intelligent people), of course you can free visit all these events , they are very interesting!

We study 4 moduls in year instead of 2 semesters, we have 1 week of break between these moduls( terms), this 1 week you rest , don't study/ only take pass some tests.

There are a lot of national holydays, we celebrate them 2 - 3 days, except the Victory day, it's a great day for our country with magnificent parade!in this year we celebrate very important date for us-the 65 years after the Great Patriotic war!!!! You can see all the celebrations!

Our student sovet also imagine interesting things these days in the academy!

Train is a good idea, there is express from Domodedovo to Paveleckij railwaystation,only 250 rub, it?s ok, but i am little nerveos about your luggage, but together, i think, we?ll pick up it easyly!!! Of course, I'll try to meet you , probably at the airport or at the railway station, i can?t leave my ?child? without help!

Then I'll register you in the campus, give a plan of the territory of the academy, we buy you a prepaid sim card for your hand phone to use in Russia and try to make international calls , it's easy' don't afraid of it, this office isn't far from the academy!

Then on the 4 of February there will be an organizational meeting among foreign students, where you will be told about your study

What do you like to eat? Have you ever taste our traditional soups? Not far away of our academy there is a café of Russian food, I think, you?ll like our cosine

I congratulate you on the day of students, that we celebrate in Russia! This is the day, when streets of Moscow are full of only students, everybody greets each other, shake hands, hug. There are concerts in the streets, we sing, dance)))

Ok, I wish you to do the best, exellent health, to pass all exams without any problems, than to become, for example, the minister of economy in Singapore!

By the way, invite you to take part in our plehanov ball on the 20th of februare, i am sure you are the best dancer!!!

I really look forward to my russia trip! I am very happy that someone will take care of me, show me around over there! It's also my first time to attend such grand ball! I'm quite thrilled by it. I have so many things in mind that I would like to do over there! I feel like squeezing every minute and second to do something meaningful there. Hopefully we'll become good friends!

Hi all, I am suppose to throw away lots of stuff... but i took a break for dinner and while I was eating, I watch a japanese movie. and guess what?

There is some reason why I don't like to watch dramas or touchy movies. But today, I watched tada kimi wo aishiteru. I really shouldn't watch such show. I am too emotional when it comes to such show. I cried like shit towards the end of the movie. like s-h-i-t:


I like Aoi Miyazaki... The first time I saw her acting was in Nana. Of course I'd prefer the other nana, Mika Nakashima, but her acting is really not bad. It's weird, I could foresee how the storyline would go but I still cried like shit.

Complexity

I AM VERY HAPPY!!! Because i just got my air ticket!!! ;DD okay. I will come back on 20th July instead of 30th july. So that I will have time to meet up with my friends and family before school starts and also to prepare for my final term. Yes, I know I am very kiasu. I always go to library to source for information before school even starts. But I really hope that my final term will pull up my GPA by alot. So yeah!

Finally I managed to finish up my scarf. Ohhhhohohohohoo~~~ :D My first successful knitted scarf. It's quite fun actually. Not to mention there's actually alot of flaws in it. But this is the first scarf which I re-did 4 times and yet I did not give up! I feel so proud of myself!!! :DDD

Of course this is not perfect, but the basic functionality is still there... that is to provides warmth! I hope someone will ask where did you buy it? Then I can proudly say that I DID IT. Wahaahahahahahahaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah!!

眠れぬ夜は君のせい

Time is running out! I left with less than 2 weeks. Now I know who my buddy in Russia is. Her name is Marina. Sounds nice right? Marina~~~. I feel kind of lost now. As to what should I prepare etc.. I think I need to go mustafa to buy some electronics. haha.

I just feel like writing this down, it may be meaningless but I thought that it's quite interesting to write some story:

One day a white cat met a black cat. Both of them thought that they are from different places so they will have very different kinds of thinking. The black cat did not dare to talk to the white cat because she is afraid that when she talks to the white cat, because of their different background, would result in an awkward moment.

The white cat initiated the talk and the black cat tried to participate the talk to avoid awkwardness. To the black cat, she was just a normal cat. There is really nothing special about her. But the more they talk, the more the black cat felt special because she was able to make the white cat happy. They also realized that they are actually very similar in character and the things they do.

The white cat is really a funny cat. He knows how to make the black cat happy. They could chat the whole day away not noticing the time. And soon, the black cat thinks of the white cat everyday.

Wahahah. I hope this is a good attempt in writing my first story in my blog. Simple plot, no climax. I think I will think about the climax part soon. I wanted to add 不管是黑猫还是白猫，会抓老鼠的猫就是好猫。 But I can't fit it anywhere now. And look I where I got my inspiration from:

Depressing post

Hi all.. You must be thinking, why is the title so. Because I am only going to complain in this post. If you dislike depressing posts, please do not read it. hurhur. > :)

First let me complain about my work. Tomorrow is my last day and they threw alot of work at me on Monday. Well it's not that brain intensive. But it is the thing that I hate most. That is to EDIT PPLE'S WORK. Tmd. Okay so in what way is it irritating? There is this Contract BA, in short CBA and Senior BA, SBA. SBA reviews the work and diagrams of CBA and gives feedback to her. She told the SBA that it's too much work and so they threw it to me, which I'm cool with it cos apparently I have finished all my ass-signments.

Well my job is to listen to the CBA's feedback and the SBA wants me to use the standard way to edit the diagrams. The moment I saw the diagrams, it was really totally GG to me. The workflow diagram is in a total mess. So I sat down with the CBA, and discussed with her about my thoughts and what should be done and what I would do.

Me: "I think there should be lesser words in the diagram"
CBA: "But it will be difficult for me to present cos i will have to refer to many notes"
Me: "Oh okay... then we'll keep it"
CBA: "So what did you do in the other project?"
Me: "Hmm usually we willl *explains*... "
CBA: "Oh, it's too much work, too tedious. I think just add the start and end node will do .. etc."
Me: " Okay sure, but I think I have to remove these few arrows cos it might cause some confusion"
CBA: " yeah please do. Just don't change the content of the diagram"

I cannot stand the diagram. It looks atrocious. lol. Pardon me, I may not be an expert but no one puts a box in between 2 roles in workflow diagram! !@$@#$@#$@#. Then today I had lunch with the SBA...

SBA: "So how's the diagrams going?"
Me: " I'm sorry, I'm unable to edit it like the other projects because she is the one presenting... "
SBA: "Don't worry lah. If I were u, I would just edit everything."

So now I am like caught in the middle. But heck. Tomorrow's my last day. And I don't report to either of them. But still!!! I hate editing pple's work. It makes me feel guilty if I edit too much of their work. grrr.

Another bad thing happened!! MY EARPHONES SNAPPED!!! I can't believe that I am soooo rough. I pulled my earphones (okay quite hard I must admit) and it snapped. The earphone's head snapped open and fell into pieces. :((( So the entire day I was doing my work without music, but people rattling non-stop. : ((( Lucky I have a few more at home. phew.

And one more bad thing happened. But it's a girls thing so yeah. Think I lost 3 litres of blood. End up I didn't went for Jess's secret suprise birthday. Was super uncomfortable from the cramps. SORRY JESS!!! >.<>
Okay I need to update my schedules again... I keep forgeting the dates etc. :/

Tokyo Banana!!

Hi all~!! Just came back from meeting ed, lu and bin for dinner at taka sushi tei~!! Hahaha as you all know, I don't really like to eat sweet stuffs... BUTBUTBUT! there's some sweet stuffs which I can't resist. Yes... the title says it all. It's the TOKYO BANANANAANAANANANAAA!

Ed went and just came back from japan, so I asked him to help me buy it and he bought it! Super happy! Wanted to share.. but the expiry date is reaching soon, So I have decided to eat it all by myself (Excuses). Here are the photos:

I have to admit that the Japanese are really good at doing the packaging. Makes everything looks so exclusive!

So what happened in the past few days and the next few days? Let's start with past few days.. I stayed at Doris's awesome house! It's really like a resort. haha. *Envy* We had a girls night out and we went to gym before that. Oooo... my jogging speed has slowed down and I am really disappointed with it. I used to be able to jog 5km in 35 mins... Now I can only complete 3.6km at 35 mins. Well, I can't blame anyone... I haven't exercised for a very long long time! Recently I am very addicted to this website KuvatON.com. I keep looking at the pictures and laugh non-stop. Look at this one:

Okay.. yesterday, I went to have lunch with my colleague Doris (Not jap class doris). She told me about her travelling experience and every year, she would definitely go travelling with her family. Her usual annual travelling country would be Bangkok and Batam. Woo... I was very interested in Batam. The last time and also the first time I went there was for cable skiing and it was a one day thing. When I was there, I saw Harris Resort and it looked kind of run-down. So I asked doris.. what is so nice about Batam?

So here's what so nice about it. The very first thing she told me is that Harris Resort is rubbish. She told me she stayed in this awesome resort with herbal spa, massage, pool, gym, everything included in the package for 3 days 2 nights, for 4 people costs only 1100! And that 1100SGD includes the clothes that she bought there, the boat ticket, the cab fare, EVRYTHING! Omg... then she told me about the herbal spa for couples which she went with her husband and her kids were given money to do whatever they want and as much as they want cos its really very affordable!

Her Experience with the herbal spa for couples sounded kinda exciting for me. haha :x You enter this room, two natives helped her husband and her to do acupuncture massage (Meaning, no cracking or what.. just point pressing). After that, they went to this herbal bath tub for two Naked or not I didn't ask haha.. so embarrassing to ask.. But I wonder.. hmm. But I don't think it will be naked cos there will be people servicing you. Pampering you like Queens and Kings. SOOOO Shiok! She told me it was very happy because its the first time she went to bath with her husband together in a bath tub. The thought of it made me paiseh abit.. but it's really very sweet I think.

Because she took a package, she got free pedicure and her husband and childrens get free hair treatments kind of thing. Her experience reminded me that I have not gone overseas travelling with my family for a very very long time! I think since 2000? I really envy her for being able to travel with her family every year! I wanted to hint my mom about it.. but seems like she'll be very busy with my bro and sis-in-law's wedding dinner. So... maybe after when I come back from Russia!

Today... is a very happening day. If you read my previous post, I am suppose to meet up with sensei, xk, doris and clarice. You would not believe how drama it is. I have no idea why my life is so drama. Okay we were suppose to meet 12:30pm at 140 Arab Street to eat Russian Cuisine. Lets do a time schedule kind of thing to show the chronological order of what had happened:

10 am: Clarice called... she said she really want to go, but is down with bad sore throat and was not feeling well so she can't go.

12pm: I left house took a cab and called doris... She mistaken the date and said that she cannot meet us cos she already had a full plan ahead and left her monday free. Then I called and smsed xk... HE NO PICK UP AND NO REPLY. Then MORE DRAMA... Sensei smsed me that the shop is under renovation and he reached.

12:30pm: ONLY ME AND SENSEI THERE. can you imagine those scene from anime where the wind blows etc. Us standing infront of the renovating shop which was supposed to be Russian food but became North indian cuisine restaurant? No wonder when I called, no one picked up! Finally xk replied my sms saying that he is at bugis junction and is on his way here. I felt really lousy at that point of time cause... this is my 3rd time organizing outing and the location happens to be in renovation!! First time was with cy and angel... we want to go sembawang shopping center to eat pizza hut and we even took a cab there... and the entire shopping centre was under renovation. The 2nd time was with val... we want to go sembawang shopping center again and it was again under renovation. And so i announced that I AM A VERY LOUSY ORGANIZER. Okay continue story. I told xk that the shop was under renovation but we can always go arab street area to eat arab food instead. SOOooooo left me and sensei...

1PM: XK havent reached yet... how could it be!! so I called him and he told me that he's lost. Tried to direct him and it was difficult cos he dunno where he is and i dunno where he is... I suggested to sensei that we should go look for him and xk was feeling paiseh so somehow he managed to meet us and we decided to go nearby to eat arab cuisine. At that point of time, the weather is really hot and we walked and by passed a few open air shops such as zamzam, and we walked and walked and walked and WE'RE LOST! Sensei can't find the restaurant that he went... and we decided to walk back to bugis junction to eat.

1:45PM: Finally... we decided to go mai mason to have lunch. Ooo the food there is really nice. I ordered a beef sergarov rice, xk ordered cheese hamburger steak and sensei ordered scotch egg. All these can be seen in my FB photos. I like the scotch egg best... It's really very tasty! We chatted alot.

4:15PM: Xk gotta go back school. So sensei paid the bill, we returned 10 bucks each to him cos we paiseh.. then sensei said he wanna go orchard to see something and asked where to take bus. He checked his iphone and said that he could take 175. Familiar bus... But I only remember the 175 that goes to paul's house... not towards orchard. I asked xk to accompany us cos he can take 175 to school too. Somehow... Drama rama again. We brought him to the wrong bus stop. lolx. I cannot believe it. How lousy a guide I am (just that this time i can share my load with xk cos he also got guide abit :P).

Yeah so that explains how drama the entire thing is... :) Moral of the story: I AM A LOUSY ORGANIZER AND GUIDE.
