- It started from 27th Apr 2009 to 7th Aug 2009.
- First thing when I got there was to sit at level 4 with no computers, only a file that states SAP Supplier Relationship Management. I read for 3 days. My Boss pushed me to this guy call Alvin. I was involved in this project call P2P.
- Then on the 2nd day after lunch, I finally got my own PC, but there was no internet connection.
- Subsequently Alvin pushed me to another guy call Paul (not my bf) and I started doing data entry and editing tables etc.
- After that, Paul had nothing for me to do. Jane asked me to help out with the QA for another project call T&E, Travel and Expenses. I spent many late nights there. There was really alot of end-to-end testings to do.
- At the same time, I was also doing user manuals for that project, which explains why I have to stay late.
- Then when the training came, I helped out with the training.
- Then came the scary UAT, user acceptance test. Holy shit, I got scolded by the users. But that doesn't matter, I learnt how to pacify users. haha.
- UAT was not properly planned so alot of shit happened and had to print notes for them.
- After UAT was over, I continued to do the user manuals and chase after the users from mid pac. cos they havent finish their UAT.
- Solve some bugs and reported many bugs
- After T&E went live, I was not that busy already. I did some data entry, data checking, calling up of mid pac users to teach them step by step on the live system. Call users to close issues which they have reported etc.
- So now I am being asked to do videos for the Japanese, for my very first project P2P. Also clearing up documents for project closure, which is damn tedious in a way. Woo hoo
Yeah so basically this is what I do in my internship. Stop asking. LOL.
Updating soon.
